This cute little site is exactly what it says. Post stories in six words! This site is useful for those who have a hard time getting started with writing. There are many prompts to use and many posts from others that may help spark an idea. Once you get those six words down, it gives you a place to write the meaning or "backstory" which allows you to even more get a start with your writing. There are competitions and even a blog on the site. It is very useful as a tool to get you started in the writing world and also useful to get your work out there since everything you post is not private. People can comment on your works and share it.
I will give this tool a 5 out of 5. It is cute and simple to use while helping push people to start writing, even if it is just six words. Check it out yourself at: https://www.sixwordmemoirs.com/

Quotev is another web 2.0 tool for creative people. It caters more to those in fandoms but can be used by anyone. You're able to create stories, quizes, and polls or surveys. The thing that makes this stand out to me, is that you can add editors for your story. Which is someone who can go in and make changes to your story if you allow them. This makes it easy to collaborate or just make sure your spelling is correct.
I would give this tool a 4 out of 5, do to how I just don't use it much myself however it offers so much for those who do. To check Quotev out for yourself: https://www.quotev.com/ |
